The annual ACM SIGMOD/PODS conference is the top international forum for database researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore cutting-edge ideas and results, and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences. Due to global uncertainties, travel restrictions, and other potential difficulties associated with COVID’19, SIGMOD’22 will be hybrid, allowing both onsite and online participation. The physical event will be held in Philadelphia, PA, USA, attracting our strong data management community in the US and around the world. The technical program will include cutting-edge research results in the form of research and industrial talks, tutorials, demos, as well as workshops. Online participation will complement the local physical events and programs.
